Drinking and driving is even more of a problem here in New Zealand, I think. You shouldn’t feel ashamed of it if you are not the one who is doing it.
I think drunk driving is a terrible offense because it kills and maims so many innocent people and inflicts great pain on those victims families. I think the penalties for drinking and driving are not strict enough in both the U.S. and Japan.
